My experience working as a Nutrition Consultant at The Food Mill in Oakland, CA has me realizing a few definitive facts as to why people are struggling with their health. Simply put: their bodily fluids are too acidic. In other words, their PH Balance ("Potential for Hydrogen) is off. Usually PH is measured on a scale between 1 and 14. An ideal PH for the human body is somewhere between 7.2 and 7.5. Anything below 7 is considered acidic and anything above is considered alkaline with 7 being neutral. Having an alkaline PH is how one retains their health. Nutrition is the main influence on PH Balance, but one's emotions and air quality can also have an effect. Having an ample amount of oxygen is definitely a factor for remaining alkaline. The consequences of being acidic in your body means that your organs and bones are being leached of minerals. Obviously this sets off a whole bunch of other repercussions.
