Acupuncture As Effective Energy Medicine

Acupuncture is an effective energy medicine because it works with the subtle energies of the body. Since acupuncture recognizes that our body has multiple energetic layers the practitioner can choose how deep or how superficially they want to treat someone. There is a recognition within acupuncture and TCM in general that one's body may be experiencing a disturbance due to energetic blockages. These blockages may not even exist in the physical body per say - for they may even be rooted in one's aura for example. However, by needling certain points in the body, an energetic blockage existing outside the physical body may even become unraveled.
